Device outage via unvalidated BACnet array index
Published Nov 27, 2025 · Updated Nov 28, 2025
Improper array-index validation in Gen5 controller drivers allows remote attackers on BACnet MS/TP networks to stop an essential process. Malformed BACnet packets supply an out-of-range array index, and the resulting exception is not handled before it terminates the process. The controller then disappears from network visibility and remains unavailable until a manual power cycle restores operation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
