Published Apr 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
Stored XSS in TaxoPress before 3.30.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute scripts through widget settings. The Tag Cloud (TaxoPress Legacy) widget stores its Title field without sanitization or escaping and renders the value on a site page. Exploitation requires administrator access where unfiltered_html is disabled and interaction by a visitor who loads a page containing the widget.
