CVE-2025-0611Network attack vector

Heap corruption via incorrect resumable-loop register state

Published Jan 22, 2025 · Updated Feb 6, 2025

Object corruption in V8 in Google Chrome before 132.0.6834.110 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via crafted HTML. V8's Maglev register allocator incorrectly starts a fall-through resumable loop with an empty register state when only its back-edge is dead. Loading attacker-controlled HTML reaches the compiler flaw; published evidence establishes heap corruption, not sandbox escape or host compromise.
