Out-of-bounds read in OMRON CX-Programmer 9.83 and earlier allows attackers to disclose information or crash the application. A user must open a specially crafted file, but OMRON has not disclosed the affected parser or the unchecked size or offset causing the out-of-bounds read. The flaw affects only CX-Programmer; OMRON states that the host computer and connected PLC are not affected.
