CVE-2025-0557Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via unsanitized Share URL

Published Jan 18, 2025 · Updated Jan 21, 2025

Reflected XSS in Hyland Alfresco Community and Enterprise editions 6.2.0 through 6.2.2 allows remote attackers to run script via a Share URL. The /share/s/ URL handler places an unsanitized path payload into the response, so JavaScript executes when a user opens the crafted URL. No authentication is required to create the URL, but browser execution requires a user to follow it; the script runs in that user's Alfresco origin.
