Database read and modification via unescaped name parameter
Published Jan 17, 2025 · Updated Jan 17, 2025
SQL injection in Codezips Gym Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify data through the name parameter. The edit_member.php handler accepts crafted name values as SQL syntax, enabling error-based, time-based blind, and UNION-based queries. The CNA assessment requires low privileges; the published proof of concept supplies a PHP session cookie despite separately asserting that authentication is unnecessary.
