CVE-2025-0539Network attack vector

Service-account compromise via credential-bearing server-side requests

Published Apr 10, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

SSRF in Octopus Server 2.6.0 through 2024.3.13070 and 2024.4.401 through 2024.4.7064 allows remote authenticated users to steal credentials. Octopus Deploy has not disclosed the request endpoint or the input-validation error that permits attacker-directed requests to carry authentication material. Exploitation is limited to Microsoft Windows and requires low privileges plus a position able to receive the request; captured material enables compromise of the Octopus service account and potentially its host.
