CVE-2025-0505Network attack vector

Unauthenticated admin access via Zero Touch Provisioning

Published May 8, 2025 · Updated May 8, 2025

Improper privilege management in Arista CloudVision Portal 2024.2.0 through 2024.2.1 and 2024.3.0 allows remote attackers to gain admin access. Arista has not published the request-level mechanism by which the Zero Touch Provisioning component grants more permissions than necessary. ZTP is enabled by default on on-premises virtual and physical appliances, exposing managed-device state to unauthorized queries or manipulation; SaaS is unaffected.
