Insufficiently protected credentials in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk AssetCentre before 15.00.001 allow local users to impersonate another user. FactoryTalk AssetCentre stores FactoryTalk Security user tokens without sufficient protection, allowing their theft, although Rockwell has not disclosed the storage location or exact protection failure. Local access and user interaction are required; a stolen token grants the victim's application identity and associated access.
