Internal data exposure via attacker-selected Sphinx endpoint
Published Jan 15, 2025 · Updated Jan 15, 2025
SSRF in WuzhiCMS 4.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access internal resources through the search configuration test. The test function in coreframe/app/search/admin/config.php uses attacker-controlled sphinxhost and sphinxport values as the outbound Sphinx destination. Administrative access is required, and the reported consequence is limited to reading data returned by reachable services.
