Weak credential encryption in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk AssetCentre before 15.00.001 allows attackers to recover other users' passwords. The application protects passwords stored in a database table with weak encryption, but Rockwell Automation has not disclosed the cipher, key handling, or extraction procedure. Exploitation requires access to the AssetCentre database, and the resulting disclosure affects credentials belonging to other application users.
