Mobile client crash via crafted attachment name

Improper input validation in Mattermost Mobile Apps 2.22.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to crash the client. Mattermost has not published the exact attachment-name parsing or rendering operation that mishandles the crafted value. An attacker must be able to post the attachment to a channel; opening that channel triggers an availability-only crash for each affected mobile user.
