Published Feb 4, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Missing authorization in Automattic Sensei LMS before 4.24.4 allows remote attackers to read email and message data through REST search. The plugin leaves sensei_email and sensei_message post types in WordPress REST search results instead of filtering them from the search query. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure without reported data modification or service interruption.
