CVE-2025-0460Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via remote file retrieval

Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Blog Botz for Journal Theme 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via the image parameter. The unauthenticated blog_add route retrieves the URL supplied in image and saves the response, without verifying that the file is an image, to a known web-accessible path. A server that executes PHP in the upload directory runs an attacker-hosted PHP payload, enabling compromise of the OpenCart site and its data.
