CVE-2025-0427

Kernel memory access via valid GPU operations

Published May 2, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025

Use-after-free in Arm Mali GPU Kernel Drivers allows local users to access freed kernel memory through valid GPU processing operations. Arm has not published the affected object or the allocation and release path that mishandles its lifetime. A local non-privileged process with GPU device access is required, and the disclosed consequence is stale-memory access rather than a stated code-execution primitive.
