CVE-2025-0415Network attack vector

Authenticated command injection via NTP settings

Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 3, 2025

OS command injection in Moxa network appliances allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands through NTP settings. The administrative web interface fails to neutralize command-special characters in NTP-setting input before passing it to an operating-system command. Web administrator privileges are required; successful commands can place the device in an infinite reboot loop and interrupt downstream connectivity.
