CVE-2025-0372

Local privilege escalation via EventLog race condition

Published May 21, 2025 · Updated May 21, 2025

Race condition in HYPR Passwordless for Windows before 10.1 allows local users to elevate privileges through EventLog service interaction. HYPR identifies the EventLog service interaction as the affected locus but does not disclose which shared resource is accessed without proper synchronization. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, active user interaction, and timing-dependent conditions; successful attacks alter privileged state.
