Arbitrary file read via unvalidated inline-SVG URL
Published Feb 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Directory traversal in Artbees Jupiter X Core 4.8.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through inline SVG. The inline SVG widget passes its user-controlled URL directly to file_get_contents without validating the URL or restricting it to SVG resources. Contributor-level access is required, and successful exploitation exposes readable server-side files without reported write or service-interruption impact.
