CVE-2025-0346Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via spoofed upload MIME type

Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Jan 9, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Code Projects Content Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The Publish News Page endpoint at /admin/publishnews.php trusts the client-supplied MIME type for the image field, so changing it to image/jpeg permits a PHP file to be stored under /allpostpics/ and executed by the web server. Administrative access is required to publish the crafted news item, after which the uploaded web shell provides command execution in the web-server context.
