CVE-2025-0309Public exploit

SYSTEM code execution via rogue server enrollment

Published Aug 14, 2025 · Updated Aug 15, 2025

Privilege escalation in Netskope Client R128 and earlier allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM through a rogue enrollment server. The privileged stAgentSvc accepts an unsigned provisioning JWT over bypassable IPC, trusts its AddonUrl, installs a supplied root CA, and runs an MSI signed under that CA. A low-privileged Windows user must inject into an allowlisted Netskope process and control a reachable TLS server; successful exploitation grants SYSTEM code execution.
