Privileged command execution via unneutralized input
Published Mar 24, 2025 · Updated Mar 24, 2025
OS command injection in HCL DevOps Deploy allows remote authenticated users with high privileges to execute arbitrary system commands. The vendor states that specially crafted input containing special elements reaches command execution without adequate neutralization, but it has not named the affected function or command-building path. Exploitation requires a network-reachable server and a highly privileged account; successful use provides command execution with the server process's authority.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.0 - 7.0.5.25; 7.1 - 7.1.2.21; 7.2 - 7.2.3.14; 7.3 - 7.3.2.9; 8.0 - 8.0.1.4; 8.1.0.0
