Session fixation in HCL IEM 1.2 allows remote authenticated users to obtain limited confidential data through insecure cookies. HCL states that inconsistent security-related configuration leaves a cookie attribute unset but does not identify the affected cookie, attribute, or request path. Exploitation requires high privileges and user interaction, and the published impact is limited to confidentiality with no integrity or availability effect.
