CVE-2025-0248Network attack vector

Browser script execution via reflected URL input

Published Nov 25, 2025 · Updated Nov 25, 2025

Reflected XSS in HCL iNotes before 12.0.2 FP6 or 14.0 FP4 allows remote attackers to execute script through a crafted URL. The application improperly validates URL input before reflecting it into a generated page, but HCL has not identified the affected endpoint or parameter. No authentication is needed to prepare the URL, but a victim must open it; the script then runs in the site's origin and can read cookie-based credentials or alter page content.
