Database read and write via unparameterized password query
Published Jan 5, 2025 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
SQL injection in successadmin.php in Codezips Blood Bank Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate SQL via psw. The handler inserts the POST password value directly into a MySQL query without parameterization or neutralization, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based query manipulation. Published CVSS assessments require low privileges, although the public proof of concept states that no login is required; successful exploitation permits unauthorized database reads and writes.
