Database access via interpolated product id
Published Jan 4, 2025 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Online Shoe Store 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through the id parameter. details2.php copies the id query value into a product_id predicate inside a SELECT statement without validation, sanitization, or parameter binding. An authenticated web session reaches the route; crafted values can enumerate database contents, while database privileges determine whether command execution succeeds.
