CVE-2025-0193Network attack vector

Cross-user script execution via unsanitized login message

Published Jan 15, 2025 · Updated Jan 15, 2025

Stored XSS in Moxa MGate 5121, 5122, and 5123 Series firmware 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in other users' browsers. The Login Message function stores administrator-supplied input without sufficient sanitization or output encoding and renders it on the login page. Administrative access is required to plant the script, and another user must open the login page; the script can perform unauthorized actions with that user's privileges.
