Database disclosure via unneutralized search query
Published Jan 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Point of Sales and Inventory Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The /user/search_result2.php handler inserts the POST search value directly into an SQL statement without restrictions or neutralization. Possession of a valid PHP session is required, and a crafted search expression can alter the query and expose sensitive server-database records.
