Unauthenticated RPCAdapter access via crafted HTTP request

Authentication bypass in IBM Storage Virtualize 8.5, 8.6, and 8.7 allows remote attackers to access RPCAdapter endpoints via crafted HTTP requests. The GUI RPCAdapter accepts a specially crafted HTTP request without enforcing endpoint authentication; IBM has not disclosed the route or parsing condition. No credentials or user interaction are required, and the documented impact is unauthorized disclosure and modification without service interruption.
