Incorrect privilege assignment in Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect App 6.0 through 6.3 for macOS allows local users to disable the client. Palo Alto Networks has not disclosed the affected code path or the operation that lets a non-administrator bypass configured disable restrictions. A locally authenticated non-administrative account is sufficient, no special configuration is required, and exploitation interrupts the app's endpoint protection and secure remote access.
