CVE-2025-0137Network attack vector

Administrator impersonation via unneutralized attribute script

Published May 14, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2025

Improper input neutralization in the PAN-OS management web interface allows remote authenticated users to impersonate administrators. Palo Alto Networks maps the flaw to CWE-83 but has not disclosed which request or HTML attribute accepts the unneutralized script. Exploitation requires network access to the management interface and an authenticated read-write administrator account; it grants another administrator identity without reported service interruption.
