CVE-2025-0122

Packet-processing disruption via unthrottled crafted-packet bursts

Published Apr 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 11, 2025

Denial of service in Palo Alto Networks Prisma SD-WAN ION devices allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to disrupt packet processing. The packet-processing path consumes resources without limits or throttling when it handles the crafted packet burst; the affected protocol and allocation are undisclosed. Exploitation requires unauthenticated adjacent-network access and interrupts packet forwarding without reported data disclosure or modification.
