Unsafe ActiveX exposure in Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect App on Windows allows remote attackers to run commands as the authenticated user. Its embedded SAML browser permits ActiveX plugins instead of blocking them, enabling a malicious page to invoke controls and execute commands. Exploitation requires SAML portal authentication and an authenticated Windows user to navigate to the page during login; other platforms are unaffected.
