Path equivalence in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to read arbitrary files via the CLI. Palo Alto Networks maps the flaw to improper path-equivalence resolution but has not disclosed the affected CLI command or exact normalization error that lets a supplied path escape its intended file boundary. Exploitation requires successful administrator authentication and management-interface access by web, SSH, console, or telnet; the reported consequence is file disclosure only.
