CVE-2025-0114Network attack vector

Service outage via crafted packet flood

Published Mar 12, 2025 · Updated Mar 12, 2025

Denial of service in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS GlobalProtect allows remote attackers to interrupt the portal or gateway. The portal and gateway exhaust an undisclosed resource while processing a sustained flood of specially crafted packets; Palo Alto Networks has not identified the packet format or code locus. Exposure requires an enabled GlobalProtect portal or gateway and no authentication, with affected versions spanning 10.1.0 through 10.1.14, 10.2.0 through 10.2.4, and 11.0.0 through 11.0.1.

Exploitability

Present is not the same as exploitable

Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
