CVE-2025-0093

Remote data disclosure via retained Bluetooth permissions

Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025

Information disclosure in Android 12, 12L, 13, 14, and 15 allows remote attackers to access Bluetooth-shared data after unbonding. AdapterService.handleBondStateChanged fails to clear message, phonebook, and SIM access permissions when a device enters BOND_NONE. Exploitation requires user interaction and a Bluetooth peer with a retained access grant, exposing only data covered by those stale permissions.
