Adjacent code execution via freed discovery database
Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Use-after-free in Android 13 through 15 allows physically proximate attackers to execute code over Bluetooth without user interaction. The SDP discovery code permits two connections to share one discovery database, then accesses that database after the first connection closes and frees it, causing an out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires Bluetooth HFP support to be enabled and grants code execution without prior privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
