CVE-2025-0050

Out-of-bounds access via valid GPU operations

Published Apr 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 10, 2025

Out-of-bounds access in Arm Mali GPU userspace drivers allows local users to read or write limited data beyond GPU buffer boundaries. The drivers permit otherwise valid GPU operations, including WebGL or WebGPU workloads, to cross a buffer boundary; Arm has not disclosed the responsible routine. Affected releases are Bifrost r0p0 through r49p2 and r50p0 through r51p0, Valhall r19p0 through r49p2 and r50p0 through r53p0, and 5th Gen r41p0 through r49p2 and r50p0 through r53p0.
