CVE-2025-0037

Protected-memory access via unchecked runtime-service addresses

Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025

Improper input validation in AMD Platform Loader and Manager firmware allows local users to access protected memory via runtime services. The PLM accepts memory addresses supplied with post-boot service commands without verifying that the requesting processor may access those regions. A low-privileged processor context is required; successful use exposes or alters isolated memory and can interrupt the device.
