CVE-2025-0036

Information disclosure via uncleared cryptographic routing

Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025

Information disclosure in AMD Versal Adaptive SoC devices allows local users to read data from invalid locations during cryptographic operations. The Platform Loader and Manager fails to clear Secure Stream Switch routing after one command, so Direct Memory Access can use stale routes for the next command. Exploitation requires low privileges and user interaction; the published assessment limits security impact to confidentiality, despite incorrect writes and cryptographic output.
