CVE-2025-0015

Freed kernel-memory access via improper GPU operations

Published Feb 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 3, 2025

Use-after-free in Arm Valhall and 5th Gen GPU kernel drivers allows local users to access freed kernel memory through GPU operations. Arm has not published the responsible function or lifetime error; its advisory states only that improper GPU processing operations access memory after release. A local non-privileged process with GPU device access is required, and successful exploitation can compromise kernel-memory confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
