CVE-2025-0001Network attack vector

Authenticated file read via user-controlled absolute path

Published Feb 17, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025

Absolute path traversal in Abacus ERP before 2022.205.15542, 2023.205.15833, or 2024.210.16036 allows remote authenticated users to read files. The affected API route accepts a user-controlled absolute path and reads the referenced file without restricting it to an authorized location. Low-privileged network access, the target file path, and other undisclosed values are required; reading the JWT signing key enables token forgery and API impersonation.
