Authenticated code execution via unvalidated page parameter
Published Oct 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
Local file inclusion in FormosaSoft ee-class before 20240326.13r14494 allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side code. A page handler fails to validate a page parameter before using its value for PHP file inclusion, causing a previously uploaded malicious PHP file to be loaded and executed. A regular account and the ability to upload the PHP file are required, after which its code runs with the web application's server privileges.
