Authenticated command execution via SrcInterface semicolon injection
Published Oct 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
OS command injection in MitraStar GPT-2541GNAC BR_g5.6_1.11(WVK.0)b26 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The CGI endpoint treats a semicolon in the SrcInterface form value as a command separator; the published request appends ping to br0 and makes the gateway transmit packets. A valid management session cookie and firewall-settings access are required; successful injection runs commands in the gateway's execution context.
