Database data disclosure via injectable report date
Published Oct 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Eyewear Shop Website 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the reports page. The /admin/?page=reports endpoint passes the date parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, as demonstrated by a time-delay payload. A valid administrative session is required to reach the endpoint, and the demonstrated consequences are query execution and sensitive database information retrieval.
