Account manipulation via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in MultiVendorX 4.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter vendor accounts through forged requests. Several functions in api/class-mvx-rest-controller.php process account-changing requests without correct WordPress nonce validation. Exploitation requires a site administrator to follow or activate a crafted request and can update vendor details, create vendor accounts, or delete users.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
