Administrator-session script execution via unescaped zoom parameters
Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Reflected XSS in SilkyPress WP Image Zoom 1.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The zoom.php endpoint inserts src, dl, mz, cl, and zs query values into script output without sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to open a crafted link, allowing script execution in that user's WordPress session.
