Authenticated router crash via unchecked curTime length
Published Oct 13, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
Buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L B1 2.06 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router through a crafted curTime parameter. The formSetWizardSelectMode handler accepts an overlong curTime value without enforcing the receiving buffer's length, causing writes beyond that buffer. Access to the web-management interface is required, and public evidence establishes a service-interrupting crash but does not establish arbitrary code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
