Authenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Oct 12, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in 07FlyCMS and 07FlyCRM 1.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload executable files. The File.php controller's fileUpload method accepts the multipart file field without checking its filename suffix or content before storage. A self-registered backend account with upload permission is required; a crafted PHP file can then establish server-side code execution where the upload path executes PHP.
