Authenticated database enumeration via interpolated email parameter
Published Oct 12, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
SQL injection in reset.php in Code Projects Blood Bank System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to enumerate databases via a crafted email. The handler inserts the POST useremail value between quotes in a SELECT statement passed to PDO::prepare without a bound parameter or input filtering. An authenticated HTTP session is required, and the published SQLMap proof of concept demonstrates retrieval of database names rather than broader database compromise.
