Database extraction via unprepared id query
Published Nov 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in miniOrange SAML IDP 1.15.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract WordPress database data. The Service Providers settings handler in controllers/sso-idp-settings.php inserts the user-controlled id value into an SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Administrator-level access is required, and time-based responses disclose query results without directly returning database rows.
